A research reflecting on points of dialogue between choreography, filmmaking and Islamic philosophy, focusing on the embodiment of spiritual concepts through movement, the use of allegory in visual storytelling and the exploration of metaphysical themes in artistic narratives.
The project explores the historical significance of movement within Islamic contexts, including dance forms, ritual practices, and expressions of spirituality and investigates how choreographic elements are incorporated into various Islamic art forms, such as calligraphy, architecture, and poetry.
